62-yr-old Kathy Bohannan, who sometimes goes by Hancock, died from
injuries sustained when her Crystal Valley mobile home caught fire.
Her husband Tony was severely injured and airlifted to a burn
center from the Midtown Medical Center. Neighbors say Tony tried to
carry his wife from the home while they were both on fire. The cause
of the fire is under investigation but neighbors say they believed
the fire started from a propane heater.
Before Christmas, former Columbus Chamber of Commerce VP was planning
to run for mayor in 2014, no he's made it official. Colin Martin resigned
from his position as VP of Governmental Affairs at the end of the year.
In a press conference following his announcement, Martin says he will
make employee morale a high priority while acknowledging there is no quick
fix for the current financial issues facing the city of Columbus.

CSU basketball teams busy at the Lumpkin Center this weekend;
Francis-Marion in tonight at 5:30 and Sunday afternoon NC Pembrook
in at 1:30 for the women, 3:30 for the men. We hear from women's coach
Jonathan Norton. He says they will prepare for the Francis-Marion
coverage and there are no easy teams in this league.
