Gov. Tim Kaine (D-VA) -- a VP wannabe and Obama prostitute -- claimed that Russia obeyed The Messiah's magic words and halted their invasion of Georgia. The once-and-future Soviets are sending us a message, just as the ChiComs were in the Olympics: We can do whatever we want. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) McCain and Bush are standing up for this tiny, democratic ally, while Obama mumbled that this brutal attack "is wholly inconsistent with the Olympic ideal." The Russians are sending a message to the world, and salivating over the prospect of this useful idiot Obama rising to the presidency. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) Rush prediction you can make book on: The Left will compare Georgia to Iraq. Paul calls to blame Bush (who's lavished attention on Putin) for Russia's invasion, while trying a bunch of lame rhetorical tricks. It's Blame America Day on EIB! A Serb and a Russian Jew ex-pat blame Georgia's president for Russia's attack. Pearl of Wisdom: "I about barfed Friday night listening to these NBC commentators glorify the caring, protective Chinese communist state. Can I tell you what I saw in that Olympic ceremony? I saw sameness, interchangeable parts. I didn't see any individuality. I saw faceless, nameless people at slave wages, following orders -- or else. The message to the West was clear: 'Imagine if these 15,000 robots had guns.'" » Communist Fakes: Girl Who "Sang" Hymn || Fireworks Show The Olympics are chickified. These athlete profiles about personal struggle are geared towards women. It's every four years, and it's all emotional. They can follow it every four years, rather than immerse themselves in it like men do with sports like football. The media freaked out over Rush's reaction to John Edwards' cancer press conference. Well, now we know: he's always been a fraud. People who are in power and don't know what they don't know, are very dangerous -- and Obama doesn't know what he doesn't know. He's recklessly dangerous." Electing this "street activist" Obama is so scary, we could see a McCain landslide. From Rush's Stack of Stuff Quick Hits Page: » BP Closes Georgia Pipelines » War Over! It's great that Senator McCain "evolved" and is pushing for drilling to reduce the price of oil -- a position the American people support thanks to $4 gas. But this should be a given for our party, not something we cheer. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) Obama wants to go back to the failed policies of the past (to use a focus grouped liberal cliché) and fight the terrorists in court. We tried that after the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing. On 9/11, guess what happened? Bill Sammon reports that in a Team Obama conference call, John Kerry and Richard Clarke say that Bin Laden should get his day in court if caught. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) Pearl of Wisdom: "This guy Obama is dangerous, because he's an idiot. I mean, really. They talk about how brilliant this guy is, that he went to Harvard. I did some checking. This guy never wrote anything at Harvard Law -- probably on purpose, not to create a paper trail; or he might not have been capable of it, for all I know." Obama's tapped a security advisor who wants us to follow the Winnie the Pooh doctrine, and see terrorists as Luke Skywalker. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) Algore endorses (curses) Barack Obama with a string of clichés like blaming Bush for Katrina. Where are the Midwest flood riots, Al? (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) The caterwauling Katrina media is absent from the heartland floods because the victims aren't complaining -- or minorities. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) The power of this program: Jenny, a Hillary Democrat who can't stand Obama, started listening to Rush in the primary -- and is now considering voting for Senator McCain. The Republicans are going to lose seats in Congress either way. As for the presidency, it's a referendum on Obama. McCain has nothing much to say about the result. McCain blew a question about Michelle Obama not being proud of the country, responding that it's tough sometimes to be proud and America must be more humble. Pearl of Wisdom: "Murtha, Kennedy, and all the others who piled on these Haditha Marines with no evidence -- and the media who called our soldiers murderers and rapists -- owe these soldiers and the US Marine Corps an apology. It won't happen, but this is who your modern-day Democrats are." If you're a corporation, it's much easier to sell a product as "green" than to try to sell it based on making a profit. About an hour after NBC's legendary Tim Russert passed away, the elite media's focus shifted from Russert to their own loss of power. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) Rush played excerpts from his 2004 interview with Tim Russert, and commented on the man's unique effort to strive for objectivity. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) Rush mentioned the rumor of the Michelle Obama "whitey" tape, and identified it as a rumor advanced by left-wing hack Larry Johnson. Rush also played the clip of Democrat strategist Bob Beckel hinting at this rumor. Although Rush came to the story weeks later than bloggers, the Associated Press advanced the false narrative that he started it. Why? They see Rush as Conservative #1. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) Pearl of Wisdom: "The AP is the one area of the Drive-By Media that still has its monopoly. Think of it as a gazillion-times-larger than Media Matters for America, which is a liberal hatchet job website that exists to take members of the New Media out of context and besmirch their character, credibility, and honor. The AP used me to spread the rumor so that they could turn around and say that I was spreading it." Timid Republicans are missing a golden opportunity to answer the growing call among voters to drill for our own oil and reduce gas prices. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) The Countrywide Six -- who all got sweetheart mortgages from the company blamed for much of the housing crisis -- are all Democrats. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here) Team Obama billed his Father's Day speech going after black deadbeat dads as conservative outreach. The NY Times called it his Sister Souljah moment, ignoring that Obama followed up his criticism with calls for massive government spending. Pearl of Wisdom: "King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia says, 'Okay, we'll pump 500,000 more barrels, but you gotta lower gas taxes.' But if it's okay for him to pump 500,000 more barrels, how come it won't matter if we pump a million from ANWR? Hmm?" Liberals on the Supreme Court just green-lighted illegal immigration. This is the change Obama offers: a USA you won't recognize.
