Scott was one of 6 National Finalists for the 2008 Radio and Records News/Talk/Sports Local Personality of the Year Award. However he was beaten out by some guy in Los Angeles. Scott claims there was a "hanging chad" thing going on and is following up.
Scott has been the play-by-play voice of the Columbus State University Cougars for over 30 years, and is a member of the CSU Hall Of Fame.
Wes is a Columbus, GA native and graduate of Columbus State University with a BA in Communications. He began his radio career in 1994 with Sunny 100 and worked for Rock 103 and B101, serving as the Program Director and Music Director. From 1994-1997, Wes hosted Not Quite Late Nite with Wes Carroll on TV and returned to TV in 2007 serving as the Entertainment correspondent in a weekly segment for WXTX Fox 54.
